Roark, who was a close associate of the BGF who gave permission for him to create his own branch of mainly white inmates at which time he decided start DMI with the intention to start an organization to unite the white inmates in the system. The group grew in size quickly, due to infiltration by Michael Quinn who had joined to secure protection for himself. He mass recruited in every location anyone who wanted to join. Sweeney sought numbers as opposed to quality since he felt secure with numbers and thought numbers bring strength. Identifiers Members often refer to each other as "Dawgs", an acronym meaning "DMI Against World Government" Tattoos include dogs, DMI, the numbers 4,13,9 (4=D, 13=M, 9=I), and the pyramid with the eye of providence. Structure The gang hierarchy is divided into many sections, with the Supreme Commanders (SC) at the very top. These are the gang's founders Perry Roark, James Sweeney and Bryan Jordan. DMI members in each facility are collectively called a "unit". Each unit is led by a commander, followed by lieutenant, field general, sergeant-at-arms, and a finance officer. Criminal activities Initially, DMI acted as hired killers for the Black Guerrilla Family, but soon began offering those services to other gangs by targeting rivals and correctional staff. This led to entry into drug trafficking and other crimes to advance their own agendas as their size and power increased.

Discovery can also be important in criminal cases too. WHAT IS DISCOVERY AND HOW WILL IT BE USED IN MY MARYLAND MEDICAL MALPRACTICE CASE? Discovery is the tool used to gather evidence in litigation. Two specifics ways that discovery can be obtained is through the use of depositions and requests. Depositions are hearings in which a witness gives sworn testimony to questions asked by both the attorney representing the side of the witness’s and any opposing counsel. The depositions are often audio or video recorded. The witness is sworn in by the court reporter who is present to take down, or record the witness’ testimony. Requests are formal, legal ways of asking for something or an answer. Another useful discovery tool is a request for admissions. This tool is a series of questions sent by one side to the other which asks the responding party to either admit or deny the statements in each question. A request for production of documents is a legal avenue to formally request copies of tangible items, such as records, emails, reports, etc. IS THERE A BENEFIT TO OBTAINING INFORMATION BEFORE MY TRIAL? There are many other avenues to obtain additional information from a witness prior to the trial. These are a few helpful methods that ae used to flesh out the critical issues presented during litigation. By using these forms of discovery, the parties can begin to narrow the lingering issues presented for trial. WAS YOUR MEDICAL INJURY THE RESULT OF MEDICAL MALPRACTICE? If you have suffered an injury in Maryland at the hands of a doctor and/or hospital, and you have more questions, this is what I invite you to do. Pick up the phone and give me a call. I can be reached at 301-850-4832. I answer medical malpractice and child birth injury questions like yours all the time and I would be happy to listen to your story. Marcus B. Boston, Esq. Being first theorized in 2012, time crystals have been created in the lab! How were two separate teams of scientists able to make this new form of matter a reality? How Quantum Computing Will Change The World! - https://youtu.be/3BKIJCTLy-s Sign Up For The Seeker Newsletter Here - http://bit.ly/1UO1PxI Read More: Scientists have confirmed a brand new phase of matter: time crystals http://www.sciencealert.com/scientists-have-just-announced-a-brand-new-form-of-matter-time-crystals "Now it's official - researchers have just reported in detail how to make and measure these bizarre crystals. And two independent teams of scientists claim they've actually created time crystals in the lab based off this blueprint, confirming the existence of an entirely new phase of matter. The discovery might sound pretty abstract, but it heralds in a whole new era in physics - for decades we've been studying matter that's defined as being 'in equilibrium', such as metals and insulators." Physicists Create World's First Time Crystal https://www.technologyreview.com/s/602541/physicists-create-worlds-first-time-crystal/ "Today, we get an answer thanks to the work of Chris Monroe at the University of Maryland in College Park and a few pals, who have created a time crystal in their laboratory for the first time. The basic process for making time crystals is straightforward. The idea is to create a quantum system, such as a group of ions arranged in a ring, and cool them until they are in their lowest energy state. In these circumstances, the laws of physics would suggest that the ring should be perfectly stationary." Viewpoint: How to Create a Time Crystal http://physics.aps.org/articles/v10/5 "The story of time crystals-whose lowest-energy configurations are periodic in time rather than space-epitomizes the creative ideas, controversy, and vigorous discussion that lie at the core of the scientific process. Originally theorized by Frank Wilczek in 2012, time crystals were met with widespread attention, but also a healthy dose of skepticism. This ignited a debate in the literature, culminating in a proof that time crystals cannot exist in thermal equilibrium, as originally imagined by Wilczek. But the tale did not end there." ____________________ DNews is dedicated to satisfying your curiosity and to bringing you mind-bending stories & perspectives you won't find anywhere else! Driving Downtown - Silver Springs Maryland USA - Episode 31. Starting Point: Georgia Avenue - https://goo.gl/maps/rz1WbcQyx7w . Silver Spring is an unincorporated area, City, and census-designated place (CDP) in Montgomery County, Maryland, United States. It had a population of 76,716 according to 2013 estimates by the United States Census Bureau, making it the fourth most populous place in Maryland, after Baltimore, Columbia, and Germantown.[2] The urbanized, oldest, and southernmost part of Silver Spring is a major business hub that lies at the north apex of Washington, D.C. As of 2004, the Central Business District (CBD) held 7,254,729 square feet (673,986 m2) of office space, 5216 dwelling units and 17.6 acres (71,000 m2) of parkland. The population density of this CBD area of Silver Spring was 15,600 per square mile all within 360 acres (1.5 km2) and approximately 2.5 square miles (6 km2) in the CBD/downtown area.[3] The community has recently undergone a significant renaissance, with the addition of major retail, residential, and office developments. Silver Spring takes its name from a mica-flecked spring discovered there in 1840 by Francis Preston Blair, who subsequently bought much of the surrounding land. Acorn Park, tucked away in an area of south Silver Spring away from the main downtown area, is believed to be the site of the original spring. Twenty-first century At the beginning of the 21st century, downtown Silver Spring began to see the results of redevelopment. Several city blocks near City Place Mall were completely reconstructed to accommodate a new outdoor shopping plaza called "Downtown Silver Spring." New shops included national retail chains such as Whole Foods Market, a 20-screen Regal Theatres, Men's Wearhouse, Ann Taylor Loft, DSW Shoe Warehouse, Office Depot, and the now-closed Pier 1 Imports, as well as many restaurants, including Panera Bread, Red Lobster, Cold Stone Creamery, Fuddruckers, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Nando's Peri-Peri, and Chick-fil-a. A Borders book store was a popular spot until it closed when the chain went out of business; it was replaced by H&M. In addition to these chains, Downtown Silver Spring is home to a wide variety of family-owned restaurants representing its vast ethnic diversity. As downtown Silver Spring revived, its 160-year history was celebrated in a PBS documentary entitled Silver Spring: Story of an American Suburb, released in 2002.[28] In 2003, Discovery Communications completed the construction of its headquarters and relocated to downtown Silver Spring from nearby Bethesda. The same year also brought the reopening of the Silver Theatre, as AFI Silver, under the auspices of the American Film Institute. Development continues with the opening of new office buildings, condos, stores, and restaurants. In 2015-16, the long-struggling City Place Mall underwent a complete renovation, had its name changed to Ellsworth Place, and brought in new tenants, including TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less (a re-opening original tenant), Michaels, Forever 21, and Dave & Buster's. The restoration of the old B&O Passenger Station was undertaken between 2000 and 2002, as recorded in the documentary film Next Stop: Silver Spring.[29][30] In 2005 Downtown Silver Spring was awarded the Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence silver medal. Economy The following companies/agencies/organizations have their headquarters based in the Silver Spring CBD: United Therapeutics (biotechnology company) Discovery Communications (media company) National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (federal agency) Radio One (media company) TV One (media company) American Nurses Association (professional organization) Stuckey's (convenience store chain) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silver_Spring,_Maryland http://www.city-data.com/city/Silver-Spring-Maryland.html http://www.silverspringcenter.com/ http://www.zillow.com/silver-spring-md/ https://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g41378-Silver_Spring_Maryland-Vacations.html

Thank You for watching my girls have fun or shop for toys. If you Share any of our videos, we would like to say a special Thank You, because it really does help us out.:) We Love You ALL! The Discovery Channel's Shark Week, first broadcast on July 17, 1987, is a weeklong series of feature television programs dedicated to sharks. Held annually, normally in July or August, Shark Week was originally developed to raise awareness and respect for sharks. It is the longest-running cable television programming event in history.[1] Now broadcast in over 72 countries, Shark Week is promoted heavily via social networks like Facebook and Twitter. In 2000, on Discovery Channel aired Shark Week Uncaged presented by famous zoologist Nigel Marven as a host. In 2000, six million 3D Pulfrich glasses were distributed to viewers in the United States and Canada for an episode featuring an extinct giant shark, which had 3D segments.[2] In 2005, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman from the Discovery Channel series MythBusters hosted Shark Week, and a two-hour MythBusters "Jaws Special" was premiered for the event. In 2006, Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs hosted, and two Dirty Jobs episodes were featured, titled "Jobs that Bite" and "Jobs that Bite...Harder". Also during the week, the Silver Spring, Maryland headquarters of the Discovery Channel was outfitted to resemble a giant shark.[3] In 2007, Discovery Channel celebrated Shark Week's 20th Anniversary hosted by Les Stroud, host of Survivorman. The 20th anniversary included the launch of Sharkrunners, a video game that uses GPS data from tagged sharks in the Pacific Ocean. Shark Week 2008 ran from July 27 to August 2 and was hosted by both the MythBusters and Mike Rowe.[4][5] Both a new MythBusters shark special and a shark-themed episode of Dirty Jobs premiered for the event. 2009's Shark Week began the evening of August 2. Shark Week 2010, hosted by The Late Late Show's Craig Ferguson, began on August 1 and featured six brand-new shark specials.[6] It was advertised by the second appearance of the giant inflatable shark attached to the Discovery Channel building nicknamed "Chompie".[3] Shark Week 2010 was rated the most viewed Shark Week ever with 30.8 million unique viewers.[7] Shark Week is now the longest-running program event on cable.[8] Shark Week 2011, hosted by Andy Samberg, began on July 31. It featured seven specials.[6] Shark Week 2012, hosted by Philip DeFranco, started August 12, 2012, at 8 p.m. CST. After being absent in 2011, "Chompie" the giant shark is once again being displayed on the Discovery Channel Building.[3] To honor the series' 25th anniversary, viewers were encouraged to vote via Twitter or Facebook on which item a mechanical megalodon shark would crush with its hydraulic jaws in the "Shark Week Chompdown".[9] Shark Week 2013 began on Sunday, August 4.[10][11] It began with "Megalodon : The Monster Shark Lives", a fictitious documentary-style film which hypothesized the Megalodon shark existing in present times.[12] Shark Week was heavily promoted by a popular ad in which a news program covers the return of "Snuffy The Seal" to the ocean only to see a shark jump out and devour the seal on camera.[13]
